BUT, I'd have to disagree with your reasoning behind it not being Jordi. So there was no sign of a significant struggle. Ok, so I completely agree with the first theory, because in the case files there are specific details that say: "The only evidence of disturbance is all the belongings and items in the tent were pushed to the sides, leaving a clearing of just the tent tarp in the middle". What is everyone's possible theories /most likely possible explantion? I cant think of other possibilites, unless she was maybe upset about everyone leaving, went for a long walk on the trails, and somehow was injured/fell/some accident occured or met with foul play while in a region that was somehow missed in searches. It seems that one of these possibilites would have to be the case, since she was about 170 pounds, and its unlikly that a man could come in an overpower her/carry her to some isolated location, or even into a car closeby. The keys/phone issue could be made sense of if you think that maybe this is in the AM when she is up and getting ready to head out, maybe she got up to go sit by the lake, go to the bathroom, or something like that, and thus had her phone in pocket/and keys on neck(they were on a lanyard) when she was approached by someone. Or #2The other possibilty is that she was forced at gunpoint or some other duress to leave with someone thats likly a stranger. So either she was just making an excuse and didnt really care about that, or whoever this person was she liked or was attracted to enough to outweigh those concerns. #1 I think she either had to leave willingly with someone she knew(or potentially met in the morning that was camping nearby/or came to fish or hunt or any number of possibilites), as this explains the phone&keys, however I find it suspicous that she told jordie she wouldnt leave partly bc she didnt wamt to leave her stuff unattended. People suggest that she had to go willingly with someone since otherwise she would not be allowed to take her keys/phone.I think there is some potential truth to this, but these are the only ideas that make sense to me: However, everything of Maddie's was left in the car or tent at campsite, aside from her clothes she was wearing, along with her cellphone and keys which have never been found. I just see no sound reasoning for how or why Jordie would be involved in Maddie's disappearnce, none at all.Įveryone has been polygraphed that was at the party that night, so it seems pretty unlikly anyone there was involved. I think she clearly has alot of guilt, and that is evident in her interviews which people like to claim is her being somehow involved. But she is a young 20yr old girl, with a brand new BF, and it is to be expected that she would be a bit self-centered and naive, not be considering the consequences, no to mention she was DRUNK. Obviously it was not the best decison to leave Maddie there. It is said that she may have left in a car due to this lack of evidence.ĪLOT of people seem to accuse Jordie, which I find just bewildering. At this point they rushed to the campsite, looked around, and called the police.Massive searches were done, there was no evidence of Maddie, a struggle, footprints, etc. It wasnt until Sunday, when Maddies parents became concerned that she was not back yet, that they called Jordies parents who indicated she has been back since the prior night. Jordie didnt raise any alarm, and neither did anyone else who showed up within the next few hours to clean up from the prior night. Maddie was nowhere around, but Jordie was apparently not concerned about this, although it is unclear where she thought Maddie was. At sometime between 830ish-10am Jordie came back to get her stuff before work and saw Maddie's truck still there, and the tent still set up with the tent door wide open. There were other people still at the party, but eventually everyone had left by 3am leaving Maddie there alone. They asked Maddie if she wanted to leave with them but she would not. However, jordie apparently changed her mind at about 1 am(which she attributes to being really drunk& a fight broke out to which she got pushed/fell into the fire, thus she left with her BF). Maddie & her friend Jordie had set up a tent and were planning to camp out for the night. The backstory is essentially a group of recent highschool graduate- early 20 aged kids were drinking out at fire at a lake/campsite for a birthday party. The only theories I keep seeing just seem so rediculous to me. I am curious what people think are reasonable possibilites for Madison Scott's disappearance in Canada.
